Things to do in and around Loch Lomond

There is a group of us booked to stay in two lodges in Rowardennan in April this year.  Can anyone give me any information about places to go for food and drinks locally?  We would be looking to go somewhere nearby for a nice meal and then for drinks.  Where would the nearest club be, if any?  Is there a village with several pubs near by or is there just one pub?  We would be willing to travel up to 20/25 minutes by car.

Lake of Monteith

Well worth a visit.For the first time in over 30years the lake is totally frozen enabling you too walk across to Inchmahome Island normally requiring a boat trip. Lots of walkers and skaters enjoying this beautiful site.
